Most people may not think this is as bad as it looks but in Canadian dollars that means we spent a whopping $490.81 Canadian for one night. Again, when paying $358 you would expect that some things, like breakfast perhaps, would be included. We had asked if we could please borrow a cork screw and were told that we could not and we had to pay another $4.99 for one. The room was average with no fridge or anything extra whatsoever.
Now, I understand that they put the prices up due to the time of year/events and I am willing to pay for quality but this was not what we had expected. We arrived to a hotel that was not as busy as must have been expected and friends of ours were paying the regular rate. The price was outrageous, $358 a night, but I was told that it was because of the concert that it was so high. We booked this hotel far in advance as we were buying tickets to a concert.
